Yesterday I posted PART 1 of the Pickard-Schmidt wedding, which showed their touching first look and private vow sharing. Today is PART 2!
Lindsey and Mike got married at the Riverfront Center at St. Demetrois in Daytona Beach. It was a beautiful day, and although it was a little warm, they couldn’t have asked for better weather! A crazy fog came in which made it impossible to get beach pictures, but we ended up taking bride and groom, and bridal party pictures on the hotel patio; it worked out great! We had to politely ask people to move out of the way for a few minutes (it’s Spring Break week here in Daytona Beach, so you can imagine what the beach was like!), but the hotel and patio made for a great backdrop and I’m just loving these pictures!
This wedding had an amazing bridal party; good looking AND fun! Both the guys and the girls were such a blast to work with, and at the end of the night, I had to make myself leave their wedding…the dance floor was bumpin’ and I didn’t want to leave! Ha! (How weird would it have been if I decided to join their reception?! The bridal party had a great chemistry together, and it felt like a bunch of friends showing up to celebrate and party! Once again, I got to stand back and click away while the day unfolded!
Towards the end of the evening, I snuck the bride and groom away for a few minutes and was able to get more portraits of them before the craziness of the night started (aka the dance floor!). Mike and Lindsey photograph so well, and made it look easy! We walked on the dock over-looking the river, and it was so peaceful and beautiful. These two must have ready my mind, because before the words even came out of my mouth, they were doing exactly what I wanted them to do…perfection! I could have posed and photographed them for way longer, but I knew they wanted to get the par-tay started!
