My fiance cancelled our wedding four days before the ceremony. Leah was scheduled to fly to New Orleans to capture all the events of the weekend we planned. When i told her it was cancelled, having never been to NOLA, she said she wanted to come anyway. I didn’t think she would still take any pictures but she suggested a “mess the dress” session and that inspired me to consider having a family portrait session since my entire family decided to travel anyway to support me through the damage.she was absolutely willing to adjust our entire original plan with just 48 hours notice. She was beyond sensitive and compassionate and respected my wishes for capturing the emotions i wanted to remember. I told her I didn’t want pictures that suggested I was feeling defiant and carelessly untouched by what happened. I wanted the truth of my new journey to be honest. above all, I wanted to capture my source of strength, my family. Leah also bolstered me up, going the extra mile to capture a few other special details i made personally for the wedding in stunning ways.

Ultimately, Leah took my hopes and ran with them, using her incredible eye for beauty and natural light and began suggesting so many wonderful ideas. by the time she arrived in town, Leah had reinvented her original wedding coverage plan, dedicating all the hours to helping me capture the beauty, happiness, and loving solidarity that still remained all around me.

Of course, I was heartbroken and devastated and there were times when there was no holding back the pain and tears. Leah’s professionalism and reverence, while witnessing very personal and intimate moments shared between my family and me, was unparrelled… she never attempts to make stiff, false, contrived images. she lets natural movement and emotion shine through, and she catches it like no one else. Leah made every picture, smiles or tears, absolutely gorgeous.

There are no words to describe the portraits Leah created. she helped to turn a devastating moment in time into a beautiful gallery of memories my family and I will remember forever. Her pictures are not just beautiful, they are transformative.

If you have to fly her, drive her, or carry her…. don’t allow anyone else to capture your memories. she is the very best.

I found Leah through a google search. I loved the photos she had posted and contacted her immediately! She was awesome and quick in getting back to me. I knew after talking to her she was exactly what i was looking for. She made my entire family feel as if she had known us forever. Our session was generational and Leah had so many great ideas. From the very first contact with Leah you could tell she was thoughtful, professional and easy going. We were scheduling for a vacation shoot while my family was in the Ormond Beach area. She offered options for time and location. On the day of the shoot she was returning from her vacation, but her plane was cancelled, but she was communicative about the situation and super flexible about rescheduling…she even showed up for the shoot that night when she had flown in super early that morning. Then she had teasers ready an hour after the shoot and the edited images the NEXT morning! We have worked with many photographers for family photos but have NEVER had our pictures so quickly. I LOVE the engagement photos that Leah took of my future son-in-law proposing to my daughter!! Knowing he wanted to surprise her, I helped locate Leah online and she was excited about “secretly” documenting the moment for them. Leah was easy to work with from the start and transitioned from dealing with me to my future son-in-law quickly, easily and efficiently. The photos capture my daughter’s surprise (and then delight) perfectly! Afterward, Leah worked with the two of them to get some wonderful and unique photos that will be enjoyed forever. Leah did a two hour shoot at our vacation house in Palm Coast on the beach. From the first time I spoke with her thru email, I was sure that she was who we wanted, especially after looking at her work on her facebook page. Now… we had a four generation family shoot, including 6 children ranging from ten months to ten years and ten adults including someone in a wheelchair!… And she took every combination of pictures she could have possibly taken! Leah was extremely patient the entire time and was willing to take as many as we wanted and even suggested other shots we hadn’t thought of (which was a lot)! She was super easygoing and fun to work with! Anyway, she’s amazing… I would definitely use her again and would definitely recommend her to anyone in the FL area looking for pictures… especially involving children! Leah is an absolutely wonderful photographer,! I got really lucky when I contacted her last minute to do my elopement (I do not recommend this lol,, I just got lucky she was available!) She captured the most beautiful photos! this was very important to me because none of our families could be with us, so we wanted to still be able to share our special day with everyone. from the moment we met her she made us feel comfortable. I reached out to Leah, after finding out that my husbands entire immediate family would be together  for Christmas this year. It was the first time in over two years that we would all be together. Our group consisted of eight adults and five kids, ages four and younger. Leah immediately agreed to do a photo session with us.
