Congratulations to MR. & MRS. Artman! They make a beautiful couple, don’t they? They traveled from Georgia to have their wedding at Ponce Inlet Beach here in Florida! There’s an interested back story to the wedding photography…
When Jen started planning their destination wedding, she was pleased to hear that she could book an all inclusive package which included the ceremony site on the beach, set up, chairs, music, an officiant, flowers, and photography. But she was disappointed to learn that the photography coverage was only for one hour at the ceremony site. She knew she wanted to do document memories and moments before and after the ceremony, and that’s where I came in! She hired me, and I was able to photograph all the getting ready photos, their first look, portraits on the beach after their ceremony, and their reception dinner.
Since it was a very small and intimate wedding (10 adults and 6 kids), it eliminated the (sometimes) hectic period of getting everyone in the same place at the same time for group shots, and instead gave us quality time to get sweet and romantic shots of the bride and groom! There was no scrambled timeline, and since the house they rented was right on the beach, we weren’t rushing back and forth to get from location to location.
Jen not only had the title of bride on Saturday, but she also held her usual title of mommy! She did an awesome job of getting her two kids, Holden and Savannah, ready while getting herself ready as well! She handled the little hiccups, that children tend to bring, with ease and grace, and that organized mama (my kind of gal…) didn’t skip a beat the whole day!
Jen made such a beautiful bride, and Casey was a handsome groom who was fun and easy going! He wanted nothing more than to make Jen happy and went the extra mile to help her throughout the day!
